4 years agoToronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. clubbed his first long ball of the season in the team's 5-1 win over the Nationals on Tuesday. His solo shot came in the second inning off right-hander Austin Voth as he finished the night going 1-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout. Guerrero was off to a slow start before tonight, but perhaps the 21-year-old will get into a groove with his first homer out of the way. The Jays will play two more games in Washington before traveling to Philadelphia for a weekend series.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
