Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Receives Stitches In Finger
3 years agoToronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (finger) received two stitches in his finger after the game on Wednesday. He was in some pain when it was wrapped initially, but he isn't concerned about the injury going forward and said the finger wasn't bothering him during his at-bats, when he slugged three home runs. The 23-year-old got spiked at first base but went 4-for-4 at the plate with the three long balls, a double and four RBI in the win over the New York Yankees. It was nice to see from his fantasy managers after he went 0-for-8 in the first two games of the series, and Guerrero shouldn't have to miss any game action because of his finger issue, although it is something to keep an eye on.
