Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Returns From Wrist Injury
2 years agoToronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (wrist) is back at first base and is hitting third on Tuesday against Chicago White Sox right-hander Lucas Giolito. Guerrero didn't start on Sunday against the Los Angeles Angels due to a sore left wrist -- he pinch hit in the game -- but he's been cleared to play on Tuesday after Monday's off day. The 23-year-old slugger has been somewhat of a disappointment after a true breakout season in 2021, but he still has nine home runs and 24 RBI in 191 plate appearances while slashing .256/.351/.451 with an .802 OPS and 20 runs scored in 46 games played. Fantasy managers should be returning him to starting lineups in all leagues.
