4 years agoToronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went 1-for-3 with a homer and two walks in Saturday’s 9-8 loss to the Red Sox. His long ball was a moon shot over the deepest part of the Green Monster that cashed in three runs for his sixth homer of the year and his 20th RBI. Guerrero hasn’t quite lived up to fantasy expectations with a .259/.338/.438 slash line and 20 runs in 39 games, and he’s yet to slide back up the batting order to a better run-producing spot in the lineup. With only three weeks remaining in the season, the 21-year-old will need to pick it up with the bat to provide a good return on his draft investment.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
