6 years agoToronto Blue Jays phenom third base prospect Vladimir Guerrero Jr. continues to rehab from a strained patellar tendon in his left knee, but he has progressed to the point that he’ll be taking live batting practice on Friday. It will be his first time doing so since hitting the disabled list in early June. While this is clearly excellent news, we can’t say for sure where Guerrero stands until he can run without discomfort. Even with batting practice on Friday, he’s probably at least a few days away from attempting that. Those in dynasty leagues continue to await Guerrero's arrival, as he's slashing an absurd .407/.457/.667 with 11 home runs, 18 doubles and 55 RBI across 53 games for the Double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats this season.--John Smith
