Wade LeBlanc Retires Saturday
3 years agoFree-agent left-hander Wade LeBlanc is calling it a career after 13 seasons in the big leagues, according to Jon Morosi of MLB Network. The 37-year-old had an up and down career altogether but will end with a lifetime ERA of 4.54, spending time with nine clubs. LeBlanc went unsigned during the offseason but pitched in 2021 for the Baltimore Orioles and St. Louis Cardinals, combining for a 4.41 ERA with 29 strikeouts and a 1.49 WHIP over 49 innings and nine starts. The former second-round pick had no fantasy value before he decided to retire, so this announcement will not affect even the deepest of leagues.
