4 years agoBaltimore Orioles left-handed pitcher Wade LeBlanc departed his start Sunday in direct fashion, citing an arm injury of some kind before all but removing himself from the game. Now, his season is over as he has been diagnosed with a stress reaction in his pitching elbow. To fill his spot on the active roster, the Orioles recalled lefty prospect Keegan Akin, who is among the list of names who could fill LeBlanc’s spot in the rotation. LeBlanc is set to become a free agent at season’s end with his 2020 coming to a conclusion with an 8.06 ERA over six starts.--Jesse Borek
