3 years agoCincinnati Reds left-hander Wade Miley threw seven shutout innings in a 6-0 win over the Miami Marlins on Friday. Miley struck out five and walked one while working around six hits including three doubles in the victory. The veteran hurler was in excellent form after failing to get out of the fifth inning in his previous start, which also came against the Marlins. The win improved Miley's record to 11-4, to go along with a 2.74 ERA, 1.22 WHIP, and 112 strikeouts over 144 2/3 innings of work. Miley will look for his 12th win next time out when he faces the St. Louis Cardinals.--Matt T - RotoBaller
