4 years agoCincinnati Reds left-handed pitcher Wade Miley is slated to rejoin the starting rotation for either Tuesday or Wednesday’s contest against the Royals, per manager David Bell. Miley has made just one start this season before hitting the injured list with a groin strain. Not much went right in that one outing, as he yielded six runs (five earned) in 1 ⅔ frames. Cincinnati has utilized young right-handers Tyler Mahle and Tejay Antone to cover for Miley, but his spot among the starting five appears safe after having allowed four runs or fewer in 29 of his 33 starts last season. He is likely only a deep-sized season-long commodity at this stage, but could be a solid streamer option if he draws two starts next week.--Jesse Borek
