Wade Miley Gets Five Outs In Return From IL
4 years agoCincinnati Reds left-hander Wade Miley didn't last long in his first start since being reinstated from the injured list. Miley allowed one run over 1 2/3 innings of work while striking out two and walking two. The veteran southpaw injured his groin during his first start of the season and had been sidelined ever since. Miley has not been particularly impressive over his two starts this season, allowing six earned runs across 2 1/3 innings of work. Miley's return bumped Tyler Mahle back to the bullpen which is unfortunate because Mahle complied a 3.38 ERA and 16 strikeouts in two starts. Fantasy gamers will want to keep an eye on the situation as Mahle is worth an add if he is able to reclaim Miley's spot in the rotation.
