2 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Wade Miley has been put on the 15-day IL with a left shoulder strain. This is not a good sign, as Miley just came off the IL with this exact injury. He started Friday against the Yankees, but only lasted three innings before being pulled due to the injury. Miley has been good while on the bump this season, posting a 2.84 ERA and 1.21 WHIP, but he has only made four starts with a total of 19 innings pitched on the year.
