3 years agoCincinnati Reds left-hander Wade Miley struggled to throw strikes in a 6-5 loss to the Chicago Cubs on Monday. Miley allowed three runs over 4 1/3 innings while striking out two and walking five, throwing just 58 of 104 pitches for strikes along the way. It was an uncharacteristically poor outing for Miley, who has been extremely consistent for the Reds this season. Miley now has an 8-4 record, 2.86 ERA, 1.24 WHIP, and 86 strikeouts over 107 innings of work in 2021. He will look to bounce back in his next start, which will come against the New York Mets.--Matt T - RotoBaller
