3 years agoChicago Cubs left-hander Wade Miley (elbow) will throw another bullpen session on Friday at Wrigley Field. Miley had a successful bullpen session on Tuesday in which he threw all of his pitches, so he'll get back on the mound again this week. The 35-year-old veteran threw 25 to 30 pitches in his first bullpen session, so he still has plenty of work to do to get fully built up. He was shut down with left elbow inflammation in spring training and is unlikely to make his 2022 season debut until sometime in May. Miley is a soft-tossing innings-eater who had a 3.37 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 125 strikeouts in 163 innings over 28 starts for the Cincinnati Reds last season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
