7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers left-handed pitcher Wade Miley (oblique) has been placed on the 60-day DL. Miley seemed to have injured his oblique in the first inning of Tuesday's game against Cleveland and is now expected to miss several months of playing time while recovering. Oblique issues are the bane of any baseball player's existence as they can linger throughout a full season. Even players who come back at full strength do not seem the same. Miley is only expected to miss 6-8 weeks with this injury, however, the Brewers felt that it would be best to give him at least a full two months to recover.--Kev Mahserejian - RotoBaller
