5 years agoLong touted as an ace in waiting, it may be time to drop the qualifier as Walker Buehler continued the superb follow-up to his breakout rookie year by pitching a complete game masterpiece on Saturday night against the San Diego Padres in a 4 - 1 win. Buehler scattered five hits over the nine innings, with the only damage coming off of a two-out home run by Manuel Margot in the eighth inning. The 15 strikeouts give Buehler 152 K on the year with a 3.22 ERA and he lines up for his next start at home against the Arizona Diamondbacks.--Nicklaus Gaut - RotoBaller
