Walker Buehler Cruises For Fifth Victory
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Walker Buehler continued his stellar season by picking up his fifth victory of the season on Tuesday versus the Pittsburgh Pirates. Buehler allowed a first inning home run to Ke'Bryan Hayes, but Hayes failed to touch first base and it was ruled a out. Buehler would go on to toss seven frames on the evening and allowed two hits, zero runs, one walk and struck out a season low two batters with both of those coming in the bottom of the sixth inning, Despite the low strikeout total on Tuesday, managers don't have much to be disappointed about. Buehler remains one of the best arms in the game and is now 5-0 with a 2.56 ERA. He will look to keep it going versus the Texas Rangers on Sunday.
