7 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers top pitching prospect Walker Buehler is impressing his pitching coaches in his first bullpen sessions. Back problems in January have led to a reduced throwing program for Buehler, but the Dodgers likely don't mind. He's two full seasons removed from Tommy John surgery and despite success in the minor leagues last season, he was slightly overmatched during his September call-up. Despite being one of the league's top pitching prospects, he'll likely begin the season in Triple-A. The Dodgers could manipulate the disabled list to keep their pitchers fresh like last season, so Buehler will be up to the Show again in no time.
