3 years agoTampa Bay Rays shortstop Wander Franco went 2-for-4 with one double and a solo home run during Sunday's 5-1 win over the Blue Jays. He took Robbie Ray deep in the sixth inning for his second long ball of the season. It was his first home run since making his MLB debut on June 22. The Rays' top prospect has cooled off since his debut but has turned things around as of late. He's currently on a six-game hitting streak. Franco is hitting .333 (8-for-24) with one homer, two RBI, and a stolen base during that span. The 20-year-old is still adjusting to major league pitching, owning a .103 ISO and 75wRC+ over 10 games in 2021. Franco will look to extend his hitting streak to seven games when the Rays host Cleveland on Monday.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
