2 years agoThe Tampa Bay Rays aren't overly concerned about shortstop Wander Franco (hand) leaving his minor league rehab game with Triple-A Durham on Tuesday due to "general soreness" in his right hand. Franco could return to action on Wednesday. The 21-year-old got off to a bad start on his minor league rehab assignment by leaving early with another hand injury, but it doesn't seem to be a major concern. He's been out since July 9, but barring any further setbacks in the minors, the Rays could get the shortstop back into their starting lineup by sometime this weekend or early next week. Franco will return to starting shortstop duties for the Rays when he's ready, and he's a must-start in fantasy when he's on the field. In 227 at-bats before his injury, he was hitting .260/.308/.396 with five homers, 23 RBI, 34 runs scored and five stolen bases.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
