3 years agoTampa Bay Rays infielder Wander Franco went 1-for-5 with a two-run single during Monday's 6-1 win over the Boston Red Sox. He roped a two-run single to left field in the eighth inning to give the Rays a 6-1 lead. Franco extended his on-base streak to 30 games on Monday. The rookie phenom has been locked in at the plate since the All-Star Break, slashing .303/.363/.487 with four home runs, 25 RBI, 33 runs scored over 168 plate appearances.
