Wander Franco Hits Third Career Homer Sunday Vs. Atlanta
3 years agoTampa Bay Rays infielder Wander Franco went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, one walk, and two strikeouts during Sunday's 7-5 win over the Braves. He took Braves left-hander Drew Smyly deep in the sixth inning for his third long ball of the season. The Rays rookie phenom has struggled at the plate but has been impressive in some of his at-bats in his rookie season. Franco is slashing .216/.275/.382 with three home runs, eight RBI, 11 runs scored, two stolen bases, and 19 strikeouts over 18 games in 2021. Fantasy managers should continue to roll with Franco as the sky is the limit for his upside in 2021.
