3 years agoTampa Bay Rays infielder Wander Franco went 2-for-4 with a triple, two RBI, and a run scored during Saturday's 9-5 win over the Red Sox. The rookie phenom hit an RBI triple in the sixth inning to give the Rays a 6-5 lead. He later tacked on an RBI single in the eighth frame for his 14th RBI of the season. Franco is making consistent contact and is starting to adjust to major-league pitching. The 20-year-old has now recorded four multi-hit efforts over his last nine games. Franco is slashing .239/.297/.402 with three home runs, 14 RBI, 16 runs scored, and two stolen bases across 128 plate appearances in 2021.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
