3 years agoShortstop Wander Franco has been called up and will join Tampa Bay on Tuesday against the Boston Red Sox. The 20-year-old is one of the most eagerly anticipated prospects in baseball, batting .323, with five stolen bases this season while at Triple-A Durham. He also had 51 hits, 35 RBI, and 30 runs throughout 158 at-bats in the minors in 2021, and he is expected to make an immediate impact as a member of the Rays' starting lineup.
