3 years agoWashington Nationals relief pitcher Wander Suero failed to secure the save Monday against the Philadelphia Phillies. He entered the game with two runners on, and allowed both of them to score while also giving up three earned runs of his own on three hits and a walk in one inning of work. He struck out one batter. Nationals closer Kyle Finnegan was unavailable for the game, having worked in six of the last eight contests. Suero may get the occasional opportunity going forward, but he should not be on fantasy rosters.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
