3 years agoNew York Yankees relief pitcher Wandy Peralta notched his fifth save of the season in Tuesday's win over the Braves. Peralta entered the game in a tight spot in the ninth inning with the bases loaded and just a one-run lead, though he eventually won a nine-pitch battle against Freddie Freeman to notch the save for New York. Aroldis Chapman has been a bit shaky since returning from the injured list, leaving the door open for players such as Peralta, though the latter would seem like an unlikely candidate for saves moving forward with all the other high-leverage options in the Yankee bullpen.--Tim Capurso
