4 years agoWarlley Alves (14-4) dominated with his kicks in Wednesday's co-main event. Just 2:35 into the first round is all Alves needed to rebound from his most recent defeat. Alves stepped in there with a difficult foe in the hometown favorite Mounir Lazzez, who was victorious in his UFC debut. Alves pounded the midsection with kicks, leading to Lazzez dropping to the mat and forcing the referee to call a stop to the action. Just recently turning 30 years old, Alves has plenty of time to begin his push up the welterweight ranks.
