Washington Claims Caleb Wilson From Philadelphia
3 years agoThe Washington Football Team claimed tight end Caleb Wilson off waivers from the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. Wilson was the last pick in the 2019 NFL Draft out of UCLA, where he finished with 114 receptions, 1,675 receiving yards, and five total touchdowns in his three collegiate seasons. He was active for just five games last season, getting all of his action on special teams. With Temarrick Hemingway in concussion protocol, this move seems to be purely for depth at the tight end position. John Bates, Ricky Seals-Jones, and Sammis Reyes make up the rest of the tight end room behind starter Logan Thomas, none of which will have any fantasy value unless Thomas misses some time.
