4 years agoThe Washington Football Team defense had a huge day for fantasy in a Week 1 win vs the Eagles. Washington recorded two interceptions, a fumble recovery, and sacked QB Carson Wentz eight times as the banged-up Eagles offensive line couldn't contain the tenacious Washington pass rush. The afternoon started rough for Washington as Philadelphia jumped out to a 17-0 lead. From there Ryan Kerrigan, Montez Sweat and Chase Young took over as the big-name pass rushers combined for 4.5 of Washington's eight sacks.
