Washington Signs Logan Thomas To Three-Year Extension
3 years agoComing off a breakout season, the Washington Football Team has signed tight end Logan Thomas to a three-year contract extension. Thomas set a career-high with 72 receptions, 670 receiving yards and six touchdowns in 2020. He will look to build on his career-best season with new quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, as more consistency from the position could vault him into the top tier of tight ends in 2021. The 6-foot-6, 250-pound Thomas will be one of Washington's go-to targets in the passing game, and one of their main targets in the red zone. With minimal depth at the TE position, the 30-year-old will compete for targets primarily with wide receivers Terry McLaurin and Curtis Samuel. Thomas is a mid- to back-end TE1 this season, with the potential for more.
