Wayne Gallman Takes Over For Barkley
5 years agoNew York Giants running back Wayne Gallman took over for Saquon Barkley after Barkley left early with an ankle injury on Sunday. The only issue is that the Giants were coming from behind and didn’t use Gallman much. He finished the day with just five carries for 13 yards. The Giants are likely to go more pass-heavy with Barkley sidelined, but since the ankle injury could keep him out a few weeks, Gallman is a viable waiver wire target as a RB3 with possible FLEX appeal in a rejuvenated offense. Just don’t expect a Saquon Barkley-level workload.
