6 years agoPhiladelphia Flyers right wing Wayne Simmonds scored two goals, picked up 14 PIMs, recorded two shots, and had a hit in Tuesday's 6-5 shootout win over the Florida Panthers. Simmonds, who is playing on the third line, already has five goals and one assist in six games this season. He has also been a menace in banger leagues with 18 hits and three blocked shots. Simmonds battled through injury for the entirety of last season and still managed to put up 24 goals and 22 assists.
