6 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Wendell Smallwood rushed once for negative four yards in Week 11 against the New Orleans Saints. That’s it. Even in a pass-heavy game script, Smallwood could not cash in on his normal passing duties. Smallwood was third in touches in the Eagles backfield behind Josh Adams (10) and Corey Clement (four). Philly’s run game has gone down the tubes since Jay Ajayi’s (knee) injury and no backs have capitalized on the void.
