3 years agoFormer NFL wide receiver Wes Welker will join Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel's coaching staff as their wide receivers coach. Welker will be returning to South Florida after playing for the Dolphins in the mid-2000s. Welker and McDaniel worked together with the San Francisco 49ers for the last three years under head coach Kyle Shanahan. The 40-year-old led the NFL in receptions three times in his career with the New England Patriots, and he spent two years coaching for the Houston Texans in 2017 and 2018 before joining the 49ers. Dolphins wideout Jaylen Waddle, who had an impressive rookie season, could get even better with Welker taking him under his wing.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
