Whit Merrifield On Pace For Career Year At Dish
4 years agoKansas City Royals second baseman/outfielder Whit Merrifield has been the American League’s hit leader each of the past two seasons, yet in 2020, he is on pace for his best year yet. Through play Saturday, he has amassed a .911 OPS, which would set a new career high. While he has just two steals in four attempts, Merrifield remains an excellent multi-category contributor, all while having the positional flexibility that is immensely valuable in most season-long formats. He has mashed Twins pitching in his career, which is beneficial over the next week as he still has five matchups against Minnesota in the next seven days. His DFS price tag is sky high, but he has failed to reach base in an outing just three times all season, giving him an excellent floor.
