3 years agoThe Chicago White Sox have activated outfielder Luis Robert (hip) from the 10-day injured list on Monday. Robert was placed on the 10-day injured list on May 2 with a Grade 3 right hip flexor strain and began his rehab assignment on July 19. Robert was hitting .316 with one home run, eight RBI and four stolen bases in 95 at-bats prior to being sidelined and he should be able to help managers in all categories across the board. Robert hit .268 with one home run, six RBI and two stolen bases during his rehab stint in 49 at-bats. It may take some time for Robert to adjust to being back, but managers should remain patient. The White Sox lineup isn't out yet, but Robert will be in the starting lineup on Monday evening. To make room for Robert on the 40-man roster, the White Sox released outfielder Luis Gonzalez. Outfielders Adam Engel and Brian Goodwin are most likely to lose at-bats with Robert's return and can both can be left on the waiver wire in all formats.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
