White Sox Will Rest Andrew Vaughn On Sunday
3 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Andrew Vaughn will get a routine day off in Sunday's contest versus the Kansas City Royals. Vaughn had a strong start to the second half, but has been in a major slump lately. Over his last 15 games, the rookie is hitting a poor .173 with one home run and seven RBI. With the playoffs around the corner is most formats, managers in redraft leagues could consider swapping him out for a player swinging a better bat at the moment. Replacing Vaughn on Sunday will be outfielder Brian Goodwin. Goodwin is hitting .193 over his last 30 games. The veteran will bat fifth versus Brady Singer and can be avoided in DFS this afternoon.
