Wil Lutz Shifted To COVID-19 List
3 years agoThe New Orleans Saints shifted kicker Wil Lutz (core) from injured reserve to the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday. He was already out for the season after undergoing core-muscle surgery earlier in the year. The 27-year-old tested positive for the virus and was one of many Saints players placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list. Lutz will continue to rehab his injury once he clears protocols. Brett Maher will handle kicking duties while Lutz is sidelined. The 32-year-old has converted 9-of-10 field-goal attempts and is 7-for-8 in extra-point tries. Maher can be used as a streamer in deep-league formats if the Saints activate starting QB Taysom Hill (illness) from the reserve/COVID-19 list ahead of Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers.
