4 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Wil Myers (quad) is not among the club’s starting nine Saturday versus San Francisco and right-hander Johnny Cueto. Myers exited Friday’s game due to quad tightness, paving the way for both Tommy Pham and Jurickson Profar to hold down outfield spots. Myers has had a career year in 2020, delivering a .591 SLG and .943 OPS. With the Padres having already secured their spot in the postseason, Myers’ availability until then remains up in the air; once in the playoffs, he’ll have tremendous DFS appeal due to his lineup positioning at the heart of the San Diego order.--Jesse Borek
