6 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Wil Myers went 2-for-5 with a homer and three RBI in Thursday’s blowout win against the Atlanta Braves. Myers snapped a 1-for-26 slide with an RBI single in the fifth inning then blasted a two-run job in the sixth for his sixth long ball of the year. After a hot start, Myers has faded considerably, slashing .248/.293/.459 with 28 runs-plus-RBI. The touted power-speed fantasy asset hasn’t stolen a base since March 30 and is striking out an astounding 37 percent of his plate appearances. While most Myers investors are prudent to hold tight, it might be worth benching the streaky 28-year-old and avoiding him in DFS until he turns it around.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
