6 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Wil Myers hit a game-winning home run in Sunday's 16-inning marathon against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Myers was 1-for-6 on the day but also drew two walks and swiped two bags. Despite sitting Friday's game, Myers wraps up the four-game weekend series 6-for-14 (.429) with five extra-base hits and seven RBI. Along with Sunday's dinger, Myers also enjoyed a three-homer night on Saturday. After a few sluggish games returning from a seven-week oblique injury, Myers is now slashing .292/.352/.563 with six long balls and four steals in 105 plate appearances.
