4 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Wil Myers is out of Tuesday’s lineup against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Facing righty Dustin May, the Friars will load the outfield with lefties as Abraham Almonte and Josh Naylor will start alongside Trent Grisham. Tommy Pham is the designated hitter. Even with the matchup, Myers’ omission is a head-scratcher after he homered on Monday and is off to a blistering 1.045 OPS with three long balls and a steal. Both Almonte and Naylor are collectively 3-for-14 on the season and DFS punt options. Assuming neither hitter makes much noise Tuesday, expect Myers to continue drawing regular starts.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
