7 years agoAfter missing the last few weeks with an elbow injury, San Diego Padres outfielder Wil Myers is expected to join the team on Friday. He will begin a two-game rehab stint with Single-A Lake Elsinore before making his way back to the major leagues. Myers has had a sluggish start to his 2018 season, perhaps due to his lingering injury, hitting just .250 with one home run. However, last season he proved he could make a different with the bat and on the base paths, hitting .243 with 30 home runs, 74 RBI and 20 stolen bases. He will be a must-start whenever he returns to the MLB lineup.--Dan Fappiano
