3 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Wil Myers is on the bench on Sunday. The Padres are taking on the Arizona Diamondbacks and right-handed pitcher Zac Gallen but will do so without Myers in the lineup as the outfielder takes a seat with Fernando Tatis Jr. getting his first start in right field. Myers is batting .254 with a .339 on-base percentage, 13 home runs, and seven stolen bases this season. Tatis Jr. starting in the outfield on a regular basis certainly isn't ideal for fantasy managers with Myers on their roster. Myers has played first base before so it'll be interesting to see if San Diego gives him more starts there in the event that Tatis Jr. stays in the outfield for the remainder of the season.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
