6 years agoDennis Lin of The Athletic reported San Diego Padres outfielder Wil Myers (oblique) will visit a doctor Monday. If all goes well, he'll be cleared to resume baseball activities. Myers has been out with an oblique strain since April 29 and has only played in 10 games this season. Padres manager Andy Green previously expected Myers to be ready "sometime in June," so it appears he's on schedule. Myers probably won't start for another week, but once he's activated he should man right field on a daily basis. Injuries have wrecked his fantasy value so far in 2018, but bullish managers could try to buy low on the former All-Star. Expect his status to be updated throughout the week.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
