6 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Wil Myers is taking a seat Tuesday as the team squares off against Zack Greinke and the Diamondbacks. To say Myers is having a disappointing season would be an understatement as he's slashing .228/.296/.414 with seven homers in 46 games for the Friars. He's struck out at an alarming 37.7% of the time as he's been moved down to as low as the eighth spot in the order in recent games. Myers biggest knock against him has been his inability to stay on the field as he's proved to be a top producer when on the diamond, but this year is an exception. Owners should remain patient with the 28-year-old as there's plenty of season left, but it's hard not to be at wit's end.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
