4 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Wil Myers stung two homers to help power a Friars comeback victory in Game 2 of the wild-card series against the St. Louis Cardinals. Myers popped a go-ahead solo shot in the seventh inning then capped the victory with a two-run dinger one frame later. Myers enjoyed a renaissance season in 2020 with a .959 OPS, 15 homers and 74 runs-plus-RBI, including multiple clutch hits like Thursday evening.
