6 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Wil Myers went 2-for-2 with a home run and walk on Opening Day against the San Francisco Giants. Myers accounted for the entirety of the Friars offense, adding an RBI single to his solo long ball. Expected to be a permanent fixture in the outfield this season after shuffling around positions in 2018, Myers offensive numbers should benefit from a more potent lineup if he can maintain his health.
