Wil Myers Powers Padres To Victory
4 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Wil Myers went 1-for-3 with a three-run homer Saturday against the Arizona Diamondbacks. He also walked on the evening. Myers cranked a fourth-inning hanging breaking ball by D-Backs starter Robbie Ray into the stands to spark the Friars 5-1 victory. The 29-year-old was the designated hitter on Saturday, so it’s apparent the Padres will plug his bat in the lineup as long as he’s performing. He should be rostered in most fantasy squads as a rotational option.
