4 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Wil Myers went 1-for-3 with a three-run homer Saturday against the Arizona Diamondbacks. He also walked on the evening. Myers cranked a fourth-inning hanging breaking ball by D-Backs starter Robbie Ray into the stands to spark the Friars 5-1 victory. The 29-year-old was the designated hitter on Saturday, so it’s apparent the Padres will plug his bat in the lineup as long as he’s performing.
