5 years agoThe Minnesota Wild are interested in impending unrestricted free-agent winger Mats Zuccarello, and multiple sources said they have expressed serious interest. The Wild, who are estimated to have over $17 million in salary-cap space this summer, are reportedly interested in offering Zuccarello a lucrative long-term contract. The Columbus Blue Jackets are also in the mix for his services. The Norwegian veteran posted 12 goals and 40 points across 48 games with the New York Rangers and Dallas Stars last season. He was limited to two games after his acquisition at the trade deadline, breaking his arm in his debut with Dallas.--Daniel Dobish
