6 years agoNew Jersey Devils defenseman Will Butcher racked up a goal, two assists, a plus-two rating, three blocked shots and a hit across 18:43 of ice time in Monday's 5-1 road victory against the Pittsburgh Penguins. He opened the scoring with an even-strength marker just 2:24 into the game, and he had secondary helpers on both of Brian Boyle's power-play goals in the second period. This was Butcher's first multi-point game since he had his only career two-goal game on April 3, 2018 against the New York Rangers. Despite the big stat line he is still only worth a roster spot in the deepest of fantasy pools.--Daniel Dobish
